Hello Helicon!
My name is Sebastiaan and I am a studio poirtrait photographer.
I own a Nikon D7000 and a Spanish made Woxter PCX100 (10" Android 4.0.4 tablet)
The market download link tells me that "Your device is not compatible"
No problem, I found a link on this forum with a v2.40 download APK.
I downloaded it and installed it, and it run fine apart from the fact that it does not recognize my D7000.
The USB host is working because I can run my mouse or external HDD's from it just fine.
So I thought maybe I just need a newer version of your software to try it out.
But I can only find a non-market download of v2.40
I wonder if the latest version (or one that works with the D7000) can be put on a server somewhere for me to download and try.
As a studio photographer, beeing able to use a tablet to view stuff big screen is a fantastic feature and I wanted something like it ever since my first tablet.
If it works, you will have a life-time registered member with me.
Amazing initiative and coding. Well done!
With highest regards,
~Sebastiaan Bloemhoff

Hello,
If that APK didn't work - the latest one won't either. There's a reason Market thinks your device is incompatible.
Is there any indication that Android itself can see your camera? Do you get a pop-up window when connecting it and turning it on, can you browse camera's storage from the built-in Gallery app?

Yes and no.
It comes up with USB mounted, but no access to camera. I thought that was because the D7000 doesnt support Mass Storage anymore, just MTP/PTP.

No, Android and Gallery support PTP/MTP devices. I think USB support on your device/Android build is somewhat limited and it only sees specific device types. There's a chance a custom ROM (firmware, Android build) will make it detect any USB devices.
