Helicon Remote Live View Canon 5D Mklll Mountain Lion
Hi Guys- Was wondering if anybody has this configuration working => Live View for a Canon 5D Mk lll on MacOSX Mountain Lion (10.
. Canon's own EOS Utility for desktop live view currently doesn't support Mountain Lion so I'm thinking Helicon Remote is piggy backing on that utility/driver as well and that's why I can't seem to get a live view in Remote. Any work arounds or confirmations I need to just sit around waiting for upgrades from Canon

Hello Louis,
It should just work. We've only had very few reports from 5D Mark III users, but none of them included live view not showing up. Please start Remote, connect the camera, wait about 10 seconds and send us a bug report (Help->Report a bug).
Remote has no relation to EOS utility so it's not affected by what it does or doesn't support.

Thanks Stas. Seems to be working fine today. I think it had something to do with EOS utility crashing every time I connect the camera and it wants to launch automatically. So, know I let it crash before I launch remote and tell crash report not to reopen.Stas Yatsenko wrote:Hello Louis,

It is not possible for two (or more) camera-related programs to work flawlessly at the same time on Mac. So, if EOS Utility is still running at the time Remote is starting, all kinds of weird problems may occur.
