Helicon Remote for Android

Post by RRImages2 »

I’m using the free version of Helicon Remote for Android (v2.6.0) on a Motorola XOOM Tablet and a Nikon D800 camera. So far I can control the camera just fine.

How do I upgrade Helicon Remote so that I can shoot RAW files (NOT JPEG) and have the files stored on the camera and not on the tablet? I know I can purchase the license, but don’t know how to enter it on the app.

Is there a PDF or WEB manual for Helicon Remote for Android? If so, where can I find it?

You can indeed choose to save images to memory card. Go to main menu -> Settings -> Image saving and change "Save images after shooting" option as desired.
You can see a "Register" item in the main menu as well, that's where you enter the license key. And choosing "Help" item from the same menu will open up a manual.
