Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 & Canon 7D

I am unable to get the app to recognise my camera.
I am using Helicon Remote 2.6.1. I have tried 2 different USB OTG adapters, both have worked OK with memory sticks but neither work with the 7d.
Do you have any suggestion please?

Is there any indication that Android itself can see your camera?
Please start Remote, connect the camera, wait for a few seconds and send us a bug report (Help -> Report a bug).
