Sony Alpha support

[bdridaho]

Any hopes for supporting Sony Alpha 550 in Helicon Remote?

Is there any software capable of live view tethering with this camera?

Thanks for your question. I am not aware of any software allowing live tethering with the Sony Alpha series, but I have never researched that idea. I will investigate that idea further and get back.

EDIT:
After researching, the A550 does not allow live-tethering, but the A700 and A900 models (and the newer a99) do have that capability and come with Sony software called "Remote Camera Control". This capability might make a decision for me about upgrading to a used A900 that I see for sale.....

Thank you for the information. if we get an a99 we will see if supporting it in Remote is possible, but no promises at the moment.
