pause for nikon d800

Just trying helicon remote for the first time and I am using flash that needs some time for recharge between shots. I see that preferences has a place to adjust this for Canon but not for Nikon. Is there a way?

Sounds like you're using an old version. Download the latest one, where this setting is in the general "Shooting" category:
