Timelapse

I am trying to remote app for timelapse but the app is not following the set time.
ex: I set 2 seconds interval but it will only take a pic every 10 seconds.. Even if i set it at larger interval, the app wont follow. I have set the preference to let the image on camera and not copy them to computer.

Anything I am missing ??

There's a certain speed of shooting dictated by the camera and the delays between commands required for remote control to function properly. It's usually around 5 seconds per shot (10 sounds a bit too long). The delay for time lapse is inserted between a pair of subsequent shots, so that with 2 s delay shooting period will be about (5+2) s, or 7 s.
