I have a Nikon D7000 mounted on an iOptron Skytracker equatorial mount.
I would like to take a series of 3 minute exposures of the sky - say, 10 x 3 minute exposures, preferably automatically - kind of like "set it and come back in 30 mins" kind of deal (like with a intervalometer).
How would I do this in Helicon Remote? I can't figure out how to even get it to do a single exposure over 30 seconds. Is this even possible?

That's what time lapse tool is for, but D700 can't do exposures over 30 seconds when controlled remotely. For that you need the latest generation Nikon camera (D800, D600 etc.), or any Canon camera.
