VCRUNTIME140_1.dll error: smart ideas to resolve?

hello friends,
I’m a longtime/happy/successful helicon pro user…have been running helicon on 2 of my win boxes.
i just picked up a 12th gen core i7 intel serpent canyon NUC…running win 11 pro…discrete arc graphics…
hoping for even speedier performance on very deep stacks…
but unfortuantely helicon focus will not launch.
i’m getting a VCRUNTIME140_1.dll errror
“code execution cannot proceed because VCR… was not found. reinstalling the program may fix…”
i’ve reinstalled helicon, i’ve correctly installed the adobe DNG converter…
i’ve followed the basic advice here

wrt resolving VCRUNTIME140 errors…
to no avail.
dang.
any smart idea/suggestions/guidance?
i’d dearly love to fire up helicon on a very fast machine to watch it smoke!

vcruntime140_1.dll is deployed by the Helicon Focus installer. Download and install the latest version of Helicon Focus, then see if this .dll is in the installation folder. It should be 35.8 KB in size.

altho i did reinstall helicon several times, same issue…
however…. was able to resolve the issue just now…
by re-downloading MS Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 32bit -and- 64 bit executables.
that put the correct .dll on my system…
and helicon launches perfectly!
and…fwiw…the new intel serpent canyon NUC with corei7 and 12gen core CPU and arc graphics handles large stacks great.
i just did a test stack of 250+ .nef files… helicon method C1…
and helicon finished the stack in less than 8 minutes.
