Hi, I searched the forum for similar topics and the last thread was from 2020/1, so I figured there might be updates. I am able to run helicon remote with my Sony a7iii in live view but the focus arrows do not change the camera's focusing. I made sure to put my camera lens in manual focus mode. Most of the buttons are grayed out but a few work including the "Focused" box for showing what parts of the live view are in focus. I have attached a screenshot which demonstrates what I am seeing. Does anyone have ideas or guidance on how to get the focus buttons to work? I watched the tutorial on the website but the interface in that video was different.

Hi!

1. The lens must be in AF mode. If it was in MF, this is likely why focus stepping can't work.
2. You said "Most of the buttons are grayed out", but that's not what the screenshot shows. Most of the buttons and other controls are available, and everything absolutely looks the way it should look.

I placed it in autofocus mode. The buttons still do not work. Some of them (the left/right focus arrows for example) are clickable but they have no effect on focusing.

Go to the Helicon Remote menu - File - Preferences - Sony. Change the focus step size to "Big", clock OK and try again. Perhaps, the small step is just too tiny to see.
