Download and install the latest version of Helicon Focus: https://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads/HeliconFocus.dmg

I was already on the latest version. Right after I installed, the first error is "HeliconFocus quit unexpectedly.", then whenever enable the OpenCL, I'll have the OpenCL error.

Does the window title show the version number "8.2.4"? If not, you just need to get the latest version 8.2.4 and the problem will be gone.
If it is version 8.2.4, please send a bug report (menu - Help - Contact support) after getting the OpenCL error.

Sorry about that, and thanks for your reports, it's fixed now. Please re-download the new version (same version number 8.2.4): https://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads/HeliconFocus.dmg

@Catherine:

Just as an FYI: I think the "unfixed" version of 8.2.4 is still online here:

https://www.heliconsoft.com/software-downloads/

I got an error with this one, the one you linked here in the Forum works just fine.

It's the same link - the "macOS" link from the website is https://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads/HeliconFocus.dmg, same link I pasted above which you say does work. And we haven't touched anything since updating to the version that was confirmed to work.

So please delete your current version of Helicon Focus (to avoid confusion), clean your Downloads folder and download again.

Strange - when I downloaded, installed and opened it, I got the OpenCL error message.
Then I closed it, downloaded via the Forum link and re-did the same procedure and then it worked.

So I assumed it was due to it being a different download. I guess that's my bad, sorry for the confusion, I have no idea why it acted up!

Yeah the error re-emerged for me as well:

"Failed to initialize OpenCL on previous launch. Please update GPU drivers."

Re-installing does not resolve the issue.
