Changing Cache folder not working

I am having issues changing the Cache folder. I've gone into Edit > Preferences > Performance and have changed the Cache folder to a location in my D drive, however it seems to still be using the C drive for caching, even after restarting both the application and the computer:



Here is another image; before rendering, the C drive had 7+ GB free of space, but my renders are failing because the C drive is running out of room during renders/previews:



Is it possible to change the cache location to a different drive? Are there any permissions issues I need to look at on the OS? Thanks for the help!

Update: I've attempted to run the application as an administrator which seemed to cache to D: for the preview, but faced another error when rendering.

What error?

Changing the cache folder does work as you expect, running as administrator is not required, but you have to restart Helicon Focus after changing the cache folder location.
