Does Helicon add any sharpening?

[BlexleyHeath]

Understanding that Helicon is looking for sharp parts of images to build a focus stack I have to wonder if it might add sharpening to less sharp areas. If this is true does i do this to the Tiff or the DNG, or none at all ?

Many thanks.

No, Helicon Focus does not add artificial sharpening in any way. I don't know whether raw decoders do.
