No liveview with sony alpha 1

Hi - wondering if there is some trick to getting liveview working with a sony alpha 1?

It seems to recognise the camera just fine.

I don't know of anything specific that needs to be done, it should just work. Could you reset the camera body settings?

Hi Catherine, not sure what I did but it "just started working" in terms of live view when using the ipad app.

Now the only issue is I don't seem able to change the focus.

Any ideas?

The iOS app is outdated, my bad for not considering you might be using it. We are working on an update right now and it should come out pretty soon, please just wait.
You could check that the lens is in AF mode and the camera is in MF, and set the step size to Big in the settings (menu - Settings - Sony). But we really don't know whether the current iOS version is supposed to work with A1 or not.
