Auto calculate nearest and furthest distance for automation

I am doing a turntable using Helicon Remote (windows) to capture.
Everything works well, though I find the most time-consuming action is to constantly adjust the nearest and furthest points on the software.

I would imagine that I would make a preset of these values by each rotation of the object, but currently I don't know if the software has such feature to import predefined values as parameters.

Is there any way that I could preset these values, does the software take in the parameters as an input?

There is no such function, and we're hesitant about adding presets for the focus parameters. Since there is no feedback from the camera regarding the focus position (it's not possible for the software to verify the position), such presets would very easily become stale / incorrect.

Can't you just extend the A-B range so that it covers the whole table? Then every position of the specimen on the table would be properly covered with no adjustment needed.

That's understandable.

I could set the min and max focus distance points but the trade off would be having unnecessarily out of focus photos.

I hope having an option to input, set as template for the min and max values could be implemented in the future.
