Hi there,
not sure if this is the correct place to ask such question: would it be possible to not only provide a link to the latest software release, but to all/the latest 20 releases by specific versions?
I am the tester of Helicon Focus running under Linux via Wine and giving Linux users a link to a fully supported release would be really helpful. I guess users of all platforms could find this helpful if they experience strange behaviour after an update and want to roll back to a previous release.
Thanks
Pascal

Re: Versioned downloads
Hi Pascal,
I'm not entirely sure what you mean as we don't support Linux, so there is no supported version. If you're asking which version happened to work best on Wine - we genuinely don't know, so yes, some testing would be required. Let me know which versions you tried so I can suggest some older ones instead.
I don't know if we intentionally don't provide direct links for older versions, or if it's just to keep the website cleaner. I'll ask around.

Yes, please add links to older versions as well. Some versions run better than other on Linux. If I can tell other Linux users which version to use that would be great, thanks!
Re: Versioned downloads
Which versions have you tried so far? I'll give you links to other relevant versions to try.
And what was the problem with the ones that didn't run well?

Here is the current list other testers and I've assembled: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... n&iId=8145
I haven't had time to test the current version, but will do that next week!

Re: Versioned downloads
8.2.2 might also be worth a try if the others aren't working, and that's all that makes sense (among the 8.x versions, at least).

Re: Versioned downloads
I've just submitted version 8.3.8 as working under Wine/Linux to the database. As for previous versions getting a stacked render is doable for Linux as long as you use JPG/TIFF files. Importing a DNG file crashes the program, the UI just hangs.
It may take some hours until someone approves the review and it'll appear on the WineHQ website.

Re: Versioned downloads
I would discard all test results older than 8.2.2 as these are very old test results/using old versions of Wine. So far JPG/TIFF import and rendering is possible, importing DNG files results in the Helicon UI freezing.Catherine wrote: 12.11.2025 01:00 Which versions have you tried so far?
