Hi,
Just discovered this software and started playing with it. When I start the focus stacking routine, it pops up an error message after a few seconds, but the file has already been written. This happens for every image it writes.
I've tried doing it to the local drive as well with no difference.
What have I set up wrong?
TIA,
Terry

Re: Says an error writing file but it writes the file
Hello Terry,
The message is misleading, we'll fix it soon. There was an error but it's not what the message says. What's really happening is you have some sort of bracketing or multi-exposure shooting enabled in the camera. The camera takes 2 or more shots every time capture is triggered, and because Helicon Remote only expects one it doesn't know what to do with the rest. So the first image will be saved and the rest are discarded.
The solution for now is to turn off whatever setting in the camera causes this.

Thanks for letting me know that, at least I know it's not me
FYI, I turned Live View off, and the message went away.
