I have deep (several hundred image) insect stacks...at single-digit micron steps...
for which I would like to select -all- images to stack for key sections of the stack (eyes perhaps)...
but then every other, or perhaps every third image to stack, for other visually less-important sections of the stack.
(to create slightly more visual depth to my stacks)
however when i "select" a certain sub-range of images in the "source images" window...
the various right-click options (ie. "check every second" or "check every third")...do not function as i would expect.
these options get applied to the entire set of source images....not the limited number i have selected.
operator error?
or am i asking HF to do something unreasonable?
im running HF 9.0.2 pro lifetime licensee.
thanks!
How to correctly use "check selected" function?
Re: How to correctly use "check selected" function?
Check every second/third apply to the whole list, check/uncheck selected - only to the selection.
Sounds like you want to "check every 2nd/3rd" first, then use selection to add regions of interested for denser stacking with "check selected".
