HR as viewfinder only?

[jockedieden]

Is it possible to only use HR as a live viewfinder while letting the camera do the shooting?

[Catherine]

Usually not, because the camera body controls are locked while live view is on (you need to turn live view off to press the buttons). It may be different for some new mirrorless cameras, but I don't know such examples.
