Why does installation provoke Norton?

Why does installation of Helicon focus provoke Norton into all kinds of messages and checks?

What kinds? We couldn't possibly answer with the information you provided, but we couldn't answer anyway because Norton is not our software and we can't speak for what it does or why. You should ask them, especially if you paid for their license.

Yesterday I had more messages plus these

Today I uninstalled 9.0.7
then installed an older version
then installed the new version

the older version did not provoke the checking procedure

The installer deploys the sample stack to Pictures, both versions do, identically (same files and same procedure).
