Update and sample folder

Dear Stas,

after each update the sample folders are installed again and I have to delete them. Could this be removed. I guess every body who is using HF since years will not need any more the samples.

Second I need a different folder for the temporary stacks as the picture folder ("my pictures"). There should be an option in the preference box to change the starting folder. If the current used subfolder is deleted after use of HF, HF is always switching at a new start to the My pictures folder.

Ok, we try to find a workaround. Some functionality (like File\Run demo) depens on the existance of this folder. Maybe it is a good idea to alow user disable sample images in the installer.

You mean, if HF does not find previously open image, let it open parent folder instead of default folder?

Dear Stas,

I would like to setup a standard folder which will be choosen if the last folder or the last opened picture doesn't exist.

The default folder now is my standard "my picture" folder. But this folder is never used for the intermediate stacks.
