"L"- shaped mouse cursor with right click

Post by kip.duff »

Just bought program (based on mention in Guilbins Multishot Techniques book) and did trial stack focus- amazing. Something I've been wanting to do for some time- didn't know possible. Two questions:

1) what is the rotated L-shaped mouse cursor symbol tool when right clicking in main window? I can't get it to do anything.

2) I shoot alot in portrait mode (also, moionitor is vertcal)- tried lots of tricks, but image always shows up in landscape mode. I saw some other earlier posts on this which I'll investigate further- just wondered if easy fix yet.

I'm also really excited about Helicon remote- an added bonus I wasn't expecting. I used it to do my first stack focus, and it was very unstable in some areas (but I still used it). Going to try again and do HDR series. Canon 5D MkII can only do N +/- 2f, so this is really very useful- thanks. I will check Helicon remote forum.

1. L shaped cursor means that you can drag (pan) image around. This might have no effect if you are in Fit in mode.

2. The program should detect image orientation. Please send us one of the images which is not shown correctly in Helicon Focus.

Helicon Remote instability: I would appreciate if you send us a log file (Helicon Remote menu \ Help \ Report a bug) when something goes wrong again.
