Did you ever get some sort of response to this? There are probably an increasing number of users out there that have or will face the same problem. Helecon should really come up with a new cable.

When using Helicon FB Tube with mobile devices that have no 3.5mm jack, we recommend to use original USB-C to 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter. Third-party adapters may not work.
