Artificial intelligence in the future

Post by Klinke »

Although your difficult situation you are doing very well ... for example all the new necessary updates for the Mac system :!:

But there is one thing I would like to be improved - if possible. 8)

Because of the high resolution of the modern cameras on low aperture I am quite often trying stacks for landscapes.
Often that works really fine using 5 to 6 pictures. The only big problem is the wind.
Quite often things like gras or branches are double (or often) in the ready picture what means a lot of corrections afterwords - if possible at all.

So what about using artificial intelligence in the future?! That could be the perfect solution, couldn't it?!

I did have it again on the weekend ... a 'landscape' stack ... only 5 pictures necessary but very low floating water and some blades of grass made it impossible to use the result. Would have taken hours to rework, if possible at all.

I am wondering if artificial intelligence would be able to recognise and correct on their own.

Catherine are you thinking of things like that at all - or do you think that is impossible?!

Hi! It's probably not impossible in principle, but it's not something we're currently pursuing or thinking of. A year from now you will probably not have to shoot any photos at all, you would just describe what you want to see and a realistic photo will be generated. There will probably also be services for correcting issues in the photos.

Nice future to come ... :(

That might be the beginning of the end of creative photography.
I do not want to get any realistic photos generated.
Doing that on my own, in the nature, in the field is what gives satisfaction - as much as possible done be me.

However you may be right and the train is 'on its way'.

I understand you very well, and my prediction is probably exaggerated, but we will definitely see more progress in that direction soon.

Just seen in a new post above ... I did not know about the sense of those settings ...

That's not special 'intelligence' but it definitely helps to eliminate some unwanted details like double blades of grass.
Not perfect, but helpful.
