Nikon D7100 randomly stops while shooting stack

Hello,

I have this issue of my camera (Nikon D7100) randomly stopping in the process of shooting a stack. Sometimes it goes trough all of the steps but most of the time it just stops on the first, third, fifth or for example eighth shot. When I try to stop the proccess of shooting after it stops, programe doesn't reply, it's not completly frozen but it does'nt really react either. I have to turn off and on my camera, reconnect it to the computer and start all over again.

Somebody described the same issue somewhere, years ago and allegedly turning off live view while shooting worked, but not for me

Please send a bug report after this happens (menu - Help - Report a bug).
Don't try to stop the shooting sequence, just submit a report.

These days, this problem has been bothering me a lot.
I replaced the cable first. Then I tried on another computer. The result was always the same as Elizabeth described. I ended up getting another D7100 camera, which produced the same error.
It is definitely a problem in the helicon remote software, especially in newer releases.
Please correct this error.

Unfortunately, I didn't get adequate help. I would like to try an older version of the Helikon Remote. With the older version, there was no problem. How can I get older versions?
