Zoom problems with iPad / iPhone

Hi there,

using the iPad or iPhone Helicon Remote app, if I click anywhere on the image to try to zoom in to check focus on a certain area, the zoom always seems to just zoom to x5 in the top left of the picture. I then can't seem to pan around the image, or even zoom out and click on another area to zoom in there.

I'm connected using USB.

If I use Canon Connect over Bluetooth/Wifi, when in Remote Live View Shooting mode I can click on a point on live view and then double clicking zooms in on that spot.

Any ideas?

Hi, please make sure that you're using the latest version of the app and let us know if the problem remains. There are no known issues with the zoom.

I'm running very.4.5.7 iOS (Sep 15 2025) registered version on iPhone 16 Pro iOS Version 26.0.1

Should I log a call with support?

Please reproduce the problem, e. g. tap the central part of the screen and observe it zooming at at the corner, and send a bug report: menu - Feedback.

Couldn't find out how to send screenshots showing the problem in the report a bug section on the app, so logged into Helpdesk on website and send a message as a bug report with the necessary images...
