Helicon Remote e Sony A7rV
Re: Helicon Remote e Sony A7rV
Hello,
Imaging Edge has installed its own non-standard USB driver for the camera, so now Helicon Remote can't see it. We can't detect the camera when it's not showing up in File Explorer under "This PC" as a storage device (it will show up there when it's using the standard Windows driver).
Solution: go to Device Manager while your camera is plugged in and turned on. Find the camera device in the device manager, most likely - in the USB group (bottom of the list), but might be somewhere else instead. Right-click this device - Uninstall device. Make sure to tick the checkbox to also delete the driver files, and proceed to remove the device. When done, disconnect the camera and plug it back in. That should make Windows apply the default driver, the camera should now appear in File Explorer. If that happens, Helicon Remote will also work, but your Sony application probably no longer will.
