Hi there,

Is there a way I can have Helicon Remote do custom length exposures? I mainly use the software for studio photography, but it is a great tethering software and would like to use it for Astrophotography. Ideally I can put an exposure time of 3-5 minutes for test shots. Could a intervalometer be a possibility some day as well? (set exposure time, time in-between shots, # of photos). I can send photos of what I am currently using if you'd like. Thank you in advance!!

Hello,

Yes, both features are already available.
Custom exposure: select the "xx seconds (BULB exposure)" option in the Shutter Speed list. Duration configured in the Preferences - Shooting.
Intervalometer: it's called 'time lapse" in the program.

Hey there,

I tried doing the bulb setting in Helicon Remote but it keeps giving an error saying “use of manual exposure is not allowed (bulb)”. I tried setting my camera manually to bulb and then in the setting preferences in helicon to 180s but it would only do a quick exposure.

Please try this version: for Windows, for Mac. If it still doesn't work, send a bug report after getting the error: menu - Help - Report a bug.

On another note, when I installed the new version of Helicon Remote, it signed out my account and I just realized it’s an email that I no longer have access to for the keys. Is there a way I can change the email so that I can get my key codes for helicon soft and remote? Thank you for your help
