Error Running HeliconFocus Server?

Hello!

I installed the trial version of Helicon Focus 5.2.15 and tested it using the images under the directory

\Helicon Software\Helicon Focus\images\Helicon Focus Samples

It worked pretty well using the GUI mode, but then I tried the command line mode, following the instruction on this page

As I input

HeliconFocus.exe -silent "C:\Program Files (x86)\Helicon Software\Helicon Focus\images\Helicon Focus Samples"

The application starts, but then failed with dialog "Error Running HeliconFocus Server"

So could anybody here give a hint for this?

We were not able to reproduce this bug in our environment so we need more info:

1. Windows version

2. Registration status and license (look at the menu\Help\About box )

Made one more test after rebooting Windows or after killing HeliconFocusServer*.exe process.

Please send us this info to [email protected] so we can prepare a test version for you.

In the meantime, disable Use 64/32 bit processing server in the Preferences of Helicon Focus.

Hello there,

I am currently experiencing the exact same bug. Software starts processing, then throws described error, but still works all the way through the progress bar after and returns an output image which seems to be a copy of the last one of the images to be stacked.
All works well without 64bit server enabled.

Win version: Win 7 Pro 64bit
Software version: Helicon Focus 5.3
Registration status: Trial licence (downloaded today, 2013-09-30), plan to purchase after trial expired

That is strange, this bug was fixed a long time ago. While we are trying to locate and fix this bug,I would recommend to check version 6 which has more version.
