Helicon Focus-the Basics

Post by wildrose »

I am new to this and have many questions. Hopefully some of you more experienced will help.
I may be wrong but can I not use Focus with only one image.
I mean , really- I am not in the habit of shooting a portrait in exactly the same position more than once- so it is 1 image I need to focus( sharpen)
Is there a way to do that.
Would it work, if I make more than 1 copy of the same image?
I am seriously in need of being educated on this.

No, it will not work with one image or copies of the same image. Helicon Focus extract information (in-focus areas) from several images and blends them into one final image.
