Helicon Remote Vs Android Beta

I am using a Nikon D300 with a Tamron 90mm micro lens. I downloaded a trial version of Helicon Focus with Remote. In using Remote on my laptop (Win 7), I start shooting from B towards camera and never get to A, even though the number of shots was completed. I used a Panasonic Thrive tablet with the Android Remote Beta with the same setup. The Beta records past A towards the camera. When I eliminate the frames beyond point A, I get I beautiful image. What is going here? Also what is the difference between the Android Beta and the purchased version?

Desktop and Android versions of Helicon Remote may have slightly different versions of the kernel but this should influence stepping functionality as it is very basic one. Please check Pause between steps in Preferences for both versions. I suspect that parameters might be different.
