D800 Using On Camera Shutter

Hi there,

Would want to use the camera shutter button but I realise Helicon remote sends the RAW and JPG file to the tablet. Can the RAW stay in the camera? I have already set in the preferences to keep RAW in camera and JPG to tablet...

Am using a Note 10.1 & D800.

i set not to download images in the settings/saving images and it works for me. however i agree with you that it is very useful to allow the use of the on-camera release button.

Hello Sam,

That setting should work perfectly with D800. Are you saying RAW images are still transferred to the tablet?
You must turn live view off to use on-camera controls.
