Hi,
Test Helicon Remote 3.0.0.w and Motor Trinamic With:
Helicon Remote 3.0.0.w
Motor Trinamic
Nikon D7100/USB cable.
Connecting the Nikon D7100 and motor Trinamic not happen automatically.
Example 1:
- Engine power and Trinamic USB-RS232-WE-1800-BT_0.0 connected;
- Nikon D7100 ON and connects with USB cable;
- Launch of Helicon Remote.
See Test Image 1.jpg

Example 2:
- Launch of Helicon Remote;
- Motor Trinamic ON and USB-RS232-WE-1800-BT_0.0 connected,Tick the box-Trinamic (which becomes stepper?);
- Nikon D7100 on and connects with USB cable;
View Image Test 2.jpg

But how you made the connection you may have 2 D7100, 2 Steppers, 2 Trinamic ….
However you should always activate an item or two, stop, restart Helicon Remote.
It should however know this operation to avoid no connects problems ..

On sugestion About the Motor Trinamic:
The Trinamic motor works with a COM port.
With Helicon Remote, it is necessary to use USB-RS232-WE-1800-BT_0.0 cable
It would be nice to say:
I use a Trinamic motor;
By default, with a USB-RS232-WE-1800-BT_0.0, Or indicate the COM port for communication.
This would use the native PC COM port, or another link (I think studying a Bluetooth RS232 to connect wireless the Trinamic motor (type arduino)).
Thanks
Bests Regard

Hi,

As you've already figured out, a camera is connected to Remote automatically, but Trinamic isn't. You should tick it to activate it. Unfortunately, this change isn't reflected in the user manual yet, we're working on it.
We will support COM port connection for Trinamic eventually, but it's not top priority at the moment.
