Crash before save

I am using 3.5 unregistered. I load the images and run. When complete, after a few seconds, the program quits. I cannot save the result, even if I try to intercept with control-S. Using 16-bit tiffs, but get the same result with the demo images.
Can you help?

I've updated the installation. Please try this version. If the problem persist, please send me log from the console utility.

Downloaded and installed. Now get error of type -4856524. Nothing in console with demo. Invalid tags with my 16-bit tiffs.
Also have dual processor, but allow multiprocessor support grayed-out.

Seems to be a problem with 10.4.8. We are working on it now.
