Overview of Settings

Would one of you please point me to an overview of HF settings (radius, smoothing, methods) and how they affect the results. Have been a user for several years. Until now, I have been accepting default settings, but would like to have more insight, since I am doing more and more focus stacking.

Results have always been impressive. I just want to be able to make the best possible choices of settings.
