Does anything function as promised?

Post by jll »

I downloaded the program on my desktop and activated - but I can't carry my desktop around so downloaded to Toshiba Satellite laptop and activated. Remote freezes every time I plug in my supported camera. Remote recognizes the camera and freezes. So I downloaded to Mac Air. Can't activate even though it says I can have it on 4 computers!! The beta program will install and functions but I can't activate. Version 4 downloads but every time I try to install and start it says the program is damaged. I can't believe this program is behaving so poorly and not at all as promised. :x

Version 4 is very old and probably isn't supposed to run on Mac OS X 10.9.
As for registration error - does it show any error message? Does it offer to send a bug report?
As for the app freezing on Android - that sounds like a conflict with another camera-related program. Do you have any? Try this: exit Helicon Remote if it's running, plug the camera in, close any pop-up messages and apps that launch automatically upon camera connection, and then run Remote.

Stas
Thank you for your response, and the excellent support provided by you and Alex throughout the day today to resolve both my activation issues and the freeze-up issues. I have renewed faith in working with you in the future should I have further issues!
