Which version of macOS are you currently running?shutterbug wrote: 20.05.2023 18:18 Yeah the error re-emerged for me as well:
"Failed to initialize OpenCL on previous launch. Please update GPU drivers."
Re-installing does not resolve the issue.

Every time macOS is updated we have to update Helicon Focus for OpenCL acceleration to work (the problem is only with M1/M2 systems). We're working on it right now.

I'm sorry to hear that - that's really annoying, I also noticed a similar behaviours for other image processing applications, they too need to be "reacquainted" with the OpenCL engine after updates.Catherine wrote: 21.05.2023 11:39 Every time macOS is updated we have to update Helicon Focus for OpenCL acceleration to work (the problem is only with M1/M2 systems). Helicon Focus has been updated for 13.4: https://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads/HeliconFocus.dmg
You may get the "OpenCL failed on previous launch" error, that's OK, just go to Helicon Focus Preferences - Performance and turn OpenCL back on.

It is indeed annoying, but we don't mind doing the necessary work. Although it wasn't needed prior to macOS 13. But maybe there is some rationale for this behavior.shutterbug wrote: 22.05.2023 00:14 I'm sorry to hear that - that's really annoying, I also noticed a similar behaviours for other image processing applications, they too need to be "reacquainted" with the OpenCL engine after updates.

Still, I hope they improve it soon, it's so much unnecessary additional work for you
