Hi all, I just got into Macro and Helicon and need some advice regarding batch processing. I shoot RAW files with my Sony A7 IV resulting in AWR-files on the computer. I have a Macbook Pro M4 Pro and the images are stored on a Sandisk Extreme 4 GB SSD. I have Helicon Focus Pro 8.3.5.
I choose File -> Batch process.
Choose my ARW images, drag them into the box and see that they are "registered". I then choose method, output format (dng) and where to store the result. When pressing Render - I get a red exclamation mark in the bottom left corner and a dialogue box saying: Failed to ceate dng file from raw using Adobe Converter.
What can I do to over come this issue?
Is it a setting within Helicon I need to change or do I need to convert the files into dng and then batch process them?
Batch processing issue
Re: Batch processing issue
Hi,
Please reproduce the error and then send a bug report: menu - Help - Contact support. We'll see what's wrong and will reply to your e-mail address.
Assuming you have the Adobe DNG converter installed, it should just work and this is not normal. And if you don't have it installed - just install from the Adobe's website (it's free), restart Helicon Focus and it should work.

Re: Batch processing issue
Thank you Catherine
You pointed me in the right direction and it has how been solved.
I had the DNG converter installed, but apparently it was an old version.
Because after getting the lates one, it runs perfectly.
Cheers

Hi Martin,
That's great, happy to hear that! And thanks for letting me know this was it.
