Hi. What is the reason for the warning text that appears when I save a stacked image in tif format?
"Save image
Failed to write image metadata: C:/AAArode/Temp/
AO0A7393.CR3: The file contains data of an unknown image type
Last error: 0"
Windows 11 and canon r6 mk2 raw file
Helicon Focus 8.3.1.1
Thanks for help.
Notification when saving
Re: Notification when saving
Hello,
Metdata (EXIF) cannot be transferred from CR3 to TIFF files, so you get this warning. The files are still saved, but no EXIF in them. Solutions:
1. Save the result to DNG.
2. Export your CR3 files as DNG if you're using Capture One or Lightroom.
3. Use Helicon Focus 9 Beta, but I recommend waiting until it goes out of beta and using the other workarounds until then.
